Motorola Razr 2019 Foldable Phone Likely to Launch Today 2020, Motorola Razor, the series which is popular for its premium looking flip phones, is quite likely to make a comeback with Motorola Razer 2019 today.

 The Lenovo-owned company is hosting an event in Los Angeles, California, where the anticipated foldable smartphone is.

Debut is expected. Motorola Razr 2019 has been leaked many times in the past. Some of its alleged renderers displayed its flip-like design including a secondary display on the front panel.

 The Motorola Razer 2019, when folded, will look like a simple flip phone - like the earlier Razor-series phones.

Last month, Motorola sent an invitation to today's event in Los Angeles stating that the Motorola Razor 2019 suggested a launch, "an original unlike any other." It also reminded by referring to previous Razr models, "You're going to flip."

The media invitation by Motorola included a GIF that suggested the foldable design of the new razor smartphone.

In February, the Motorola VP of global product Dan Durry confirmed plans for a foldable phone - without naming the Motorola Razer 2019. "We started working on foldables long ago," Durie said in an interview.

The executive had highlighted that Motorola would adopt a different approach adopted by Samsung and Huawei while developing their own separate foldable phones and install a flexible display that folded twice. The smartphone is also said to come with a dual-hinge design.

Some recent renders suggested that Motorola Razer 2019 will come with a small screen on the front that can display a notification alert. The screen will come with a camera sensor that can be used to take selfies.

Once flipped open, the Motorola Razer 2019 will open vertically from the middle. The handset may also have a fingerprint sensor.

The Motorola Razer 2019 is said to come with a 6.2-inch display with 876x2142 pixels resolution, while the cover display will have a resolution of 600x800 pixels.

The phone will pack a 2,730mAh battery and will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. In addition, it is rumored to come with a price tag of EUR 1,500 (approximately Rs. 1,18,500).
